Concrete Basins

Concrete basins, cast as above counter bowls in square, round, oval and other shapes. Colour is the main choice and the palette is broad: Wheat, Ivory, Custard, Clay, Karri, Sand, Rust, Blush Pink, Lilac, Lilly Pilly, Mint, Sage, Copan Blue, Teal, Cloud, Morning Mist, Sky Grey, Mid Tone Grey, Slate, Storm and Charcoal. Concrete is cast rather than fired, so small shifts in tone and surface between one basin and the next come with the material. A concrete basin weighs more than a ceramic bowl of the same size, so the benchtop and the cabinet under it have to take the load. Above counter bowls raise the rim, so set the bench height and the tap spout to match.
