Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Repubblica website at repubblica.com.au and the products and services offered through it. By placing an order or browsing the site, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Repubblica operates a tile, tapware, and bathware retail business in Australia, with a showroom in Canberra and an online store at repubblica.com.au. Contact: hello@repubblica.com.au.
2. Use of the site
You may use the site to browse products, place orders, manage your account, and access customer service. You must not use the site to:
- Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity.
- Interfere with the site's operation, servers, or other users' use.
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise programmatically extract data without our prior written consent.
3. Pricing and product information
We aim to keep product information, descriptions, and pricing accurate and up-to-date. Pricing is in Australian Dollars (AUD) and includes GST where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing or product errors and to refuse or cancel orders placed under an obviously incorrect price.
Product imagery is illustrative. Tile and stone products vary in colour, veining, and finish from batch to batch; we recommend ordering samples before committing to a full purchase.
4. Orders and payment
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline at our discretion, and an order is only confirmed when we send a dispatch confirmation. Payment is processed at checkout via the payment methods displayed.
5. Returns, refunds, and consumer guarantees
Our Refund Policy sets out the process for returns and refunds. Nothing in these Terms limits the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a product is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the site - including images, copy, layout, graphics, and brand marks - is owned by Repubblica or our licensors and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or republish content without our prior written consent.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price paid for the relevant product. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profit, business interruption, or data loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian law, including liability for fraud, personal injury, or under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory and the Commonwealth of Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Australian Capital Territory.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions are published on this page and apply from the date of publication. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance.
