REPUBLICCA RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY

A considered approach to returns

At Repubblica, every product is carefully curated and often sourced specifically for your project. For this reason, we encourage all clients to finalise selections thoughtfully prior to purchase.

We understand that plans can evolve, and where possible, we offer a structured returns process outlined below.

Change of Mind Returns

We may accept returns for change of mind subject to the following conditions:

  • Return request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery
  • Goods must be:
    • unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging
    • in full saleable condition
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Return approval is required prior to sending goods back

Fees & Charges

  • Restocking fee: 25% 
  • All freight costs are the responsibility of the customer (both original and return freight)
  • For large or palletised items, additional handling fees may apply

This structure reflects industry standards where:

  • TileCloud applies ~5%
  • Blue Space applies ~25%
  • Buildmat applies up to ~20%

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns:

  • Custom, made-to-order, or special-order products
  • Commercial quantities or project orders
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Samples
  • Products with damaged or missing packaging
  • Any product that has been installed, used, or altered

Inspection & Installation Responsibility

All products must be inspected prior to installation.

  • Any product installed is deemed accepted in full
  • Repubblica is not liable for removal, reinstallation, or associated costs

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.

  • Report any issues within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos and order details
  • Do not install affected products

If approved, Repubblica will arrange:

  • replacement
  • repair
  • or refund where appropriate

Return freight will be covered where the issue is confirmed as:

  • faulty
  • damaged in transit
  • or incorrectly supplied

Return Process

  1. Submit a return request via email with:
    • order number
    • product details
    • reason for return
  2. Await approval and return instructions
  3. Securely package goods in original packaging
  4. Arrange return freight (tracked and insured recommended)
  5. Goods will be inspected upon arrival before approval

Refunds & Credits

  • Approved returns will be issued as:
    • store credit or
    • refund to original payment method (at Repubblica’s discretion)
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Refunds are processed once goods are inspected and approved

Important Notes

  • Returns are not guaranteed until inspected and approved
  • Repubblica reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet policy conditions
  • Store credits are valid for 3 months from issue
