The Curl fluted mosaics are natural stone sheets at 305 x 305mm with a honed finish and a ribbed, half round profile across the face. Stones include carrara, calacatta gold, new york marble, rosso levanto, botticino, utica limestone, travertine classic, rosa travertine, gris travertine, taj green, amazonia, verdi cristallo and verdi antigua. On a splashback, run the flutes vertically behind the cooktop so oil runs down the grooves rather than pooling in them, and seal the stone before and after grouting, since marble stains from oil and acid. Cut the sheets so a full flute lands at the edge against a benchtop or window reveal, since a half cut rib is obvious at eye level.
