KYOTO TERRACOTTA JAPANESE LOOK KIT KAT MOSAIC TILE

Warm, earthy, and rich with character.

The Kyoto Terracotta Japanese Look Kit Kat Mosaic Tile introduces a grounded, clay-inspired tone that brings warmth and depth into interiors. Inspired by Japanese design principles, this kit kat tile creates a sense of balance, texture and natural flow.

Its rich terracotta colour adds an organic warmth, while the gloss finish enhances depth and subtle tonal variation. As a mosaic tile, it delivers texture and movement while maintaining a refined, architectural aesthetic.

Description

The Kyoto Terracotta Japanese Look Kit Kat Mosaic Tile is a modern finger mosaic designed to create warmth and visual depth within a space. Its elongated chips are arranged in a precise stack bond layout, forming a clean, linear pattern that enhances architectural detail.

The terracotta tone introduces a natural, earthy palette that works beautifully in interiors that prioritise warmth and materiality. The gloss finish enhances this richness, allowing light to reflect across the surface and highlight variation in tone.

These mosaic tiles are ideal for bathrooms, splashbacks and feature walls where you want to create a layered, inviting atmosphere. Their slim profile and sheet format allow for a seamless installation across both flat and curved surfaces.

Design Insight

Kit kat tiles are designed to create direction and flow within a space. When laid vertically, they enhance height and draw the eye upward. When laid horizontally, they create width and a more relaxed feel.

The Kyoto Terracotta tone works beautifully in interiors that incorporate natural materials such as timber, stone and brushed metals. It brings warmth without heaviness, making it ideal for creating inviting, cohesive spaces.

Applications:

Bathroom walls and shower niches.

Kitchen splashbacks.

Powder rooms.

Fireplace surrounds.

Curved walls and joinery details.

Delivery methods and partners

We work with several carriers to suit different product types and delivery regions, including TNT Express, Allied Express, Hunter Express, Trans Direct, and other regional partners. Tiles and oversized items typically ship by pallet via freight networks.

Delivery times

• Metro areas (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra): 7-14 business days from dispatch.
• Regional areas: 14-21 business days from dispatch.
• Remote areas: Up to 21 business days. We will contact you with an updated estimate if your postcode is in a remote zone.

Dispatch is normally within 1-3 business days of order confirmation, subject to stock availability. Some bathware items are drop-shipped from suppliers and may have longer dispatch windows; we will email you an updated dispatch estimate where applicable.

Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination postcode. For oversized tile orders, palletised freight quotes may be applied. Free or discounted shipping promotions are noted on the relevant product or collection pages.

Tiles and fragile freight

Tiles are heavy, fragile, and ship in batches. We pack with industry-standard pallet protection, but some breakage is normal in tile transport. We recommend ordering 10% extra on top of your room measurement to cover breakage and cuts.

Inspect tile pallets at the point of delivery. If breakage exceeds normal levels, photograph the pallet on receipt and email the photos to bruno@repubblica.com.au within 48 hours of delivery so we can lodge a freight claim.

Showroom collection

Customers in the Canberra region can collect from our Fyshwick showroom by arrangement. Select the pickup option at checkout where available, and we will email you when your order is ready.

International shipping

Repubblica currently ships within Australia only. International orders are not accepted via the online checkout.
