Stone Look Tiles

The Albany tiles are porcelain with a stone look, made in one size, 600 x 600mm, with a lappato finish. Colours are white, beige, greige and grey. Lappato is a semi polished surface, part matte and part sheen, which gives back more light than a full matte tile without the glare of a polish. Porcelain does not need sealing the way the stone it imitates does, though the face is printed, so a limited number of patterns repeats across a batch. Shuffle tiles from several boxes while laying, or that repeat becomes visible across a large floor. The square format works on floors and walls, which lets one colour carry from a bathroom floor up the wall.
