Lengths start at 1210mm and run through 1295mm, 1300mm, 1395mm and 1400mm, and several models are listed at two lengths, such as 1295/1465mm and 1395/1515mm, so one shell covers two openings. A short bath suits an ensuite or a second bathroom where the run of wall is tight. Measure wall to wall at floor level and again above the skirting, since the two rarely match in an older house. Leave room for the tap set and, on a spa bath, for access to the pump and its wiring.
