SINK COLENDARS

A kitchen sink colander rests over the bowl so rinsing and draining happen in the sink rather than at the bench. The colanders listed here are finished in PVD brushed nickel, brushed bronze gold and gunmetal black, the same tones used across sink mixers, protection grids and wastes, so a kitchen can be finished in one metal. A colander is a loose accessory rather than a fitted one, so it lifts straight out for cleaning and can move between bowls on a double sink. Each is sized to the sink it belongs with, so measure across the bowl at the rim first: too narrow and it drops in, too wide and it will not seat. It also stays in view between uses, which is a reason to match its finish to the tapware.
