A PALE GREEN KITCHEN
with NATURAL CHARACTER
A small change in colour can set the mood for a whole room. In this plywood kitchen, pale green marble brings a gentle contrast to the warm cabinetry and dark benchtop.
The splashback’s rounded mosaic shape adds rhythm, while the natural variation of the stone keeps each piece individual.

The material story
Pale green.
Natural variation.
Verdi Cristallo, also known as Ming Green marble, has a crystalline quality and variation in both colour and veining. Here, the stone is used in a pill-shaped Tic Tax mosaic.
The elongated curves soften the grid of the cabinetry. Against the dark benchtop, the lighter marble becomes a feature without making the kitchen feel overly patterned.
Warm timber. Pale stone. A little contrast to bring them together.
The palette
A mood drawn from the imagery.
Colours are indicative.

Bring the idea home
A connected space.
A quieter companion.
The kitchen continues into a butler’s pantry with white gloss subway tiles laid in a brick-bond pattern. A simpler surface lets the green marble remain the main kitchen’s focal point.
The original selection also included a Meir kitchen mixer and undermount sink. Dark fixtures connect with the benchtop, while the timber keeps the overall palette warm.
For your own kitchen, compare a stone sample with the cabinetry, benchtop and tapware you are considering. Look at the combination in different light, then ask our team about current mosaic options and suitability for your splashback.
