Creating more space does not always begin with a bigger room. In this renovation, Elias of Elite Renovations reconsidered the layout, bringing light and a calmer balance to a compact bathroom.

Removing a linen cupboard in the adjacent hallway made room to separate the shower and bath. Pale surfaces and a consistent tile palette help the new layout feel connected.

The material story

A quiet foundation.
A finer detail.

The original project paired Vancouver tiles in white with vintage grey finger mosaics. Carrying the larger stone-look tile across the floor and walls creates a gentle backdrop for the finer pattern of the feature wall.

Warm metallic tapware and accessories add contrast to the grey palette. A white vanity and basin keep the fixtures visually light, allowing the tile textures to remain central to the room.

Bring the idea home

Make room
for the way you live.

The earlier bathroom combined the shower and bath and had a vanity that felt too large for the space. Reworking those proportions changed how the room could be used.

The mosaic was positioned on the main wall as you enter, giving the small format a clear place in the design. The bath, shower and vanity each have their own space, tied together by the repeated finishes.

If you are planning a similar renovation, bring your layout and measurements alongside your material samples. Our team can help you compare current stone-look tiles and mosaics before you finalise the details.
