Stone Herringbone Tiles

The Balmain herringbone mosaics are tumbled natural stone laid in a chevron and supplied on 293 x 214mm mesh sheets, so the pattern repeats without hand setting every piece. Stones include Carrara, Travertine Classic, Gris Travertine, Cinder Grey, Rosado, Rosa Murcia, Taj Green and Verdi Cristallo, which covers greens, pinks, greys, beiges, white and cream. Tumbling rounds the edges and dulls the face, so the surface hides wear better than a polished stone and gives more grip underfoot. Herringbone reads best over a wide surface such as a floor or a full wall. Set out from the centre line so the cuts fall evenly at both ends, and seal the stone before grouting.
