Care Showers

Accessible shower sets built around a grab rail. The shower runs on a 32mm T bar rail measuring 1100 x 750mm, so the same rail gives support and carries the sliding hand shower. Twin shower sets, adjustable shower sets and plain rail showers all appear, with a matching shower mixer. Finishes are chrome, matte black, gun metal, brushed nickel, brushed gold and brushed bronze. A grab rail takes body weight, so it has to be fixed into studs or solid blocking, never into plasterboard alone, and that blocking goes in before the wall is sheeted. Set the rail position around the person who will use it rather than to a standard height, and check the slider can be reached from a seated position.
